Mission
The main objective of the institute is to identify the most promising factors, patients, and treatments for optimized rehabilitation (outcomes, satisfaction, cost-effectiveness).
We fulfill our mission by performing the following tasks:
Development and validation of new approaches and methods to identify key factors and underlying mechanisms in responders/nonresponders for better health services and optimized rehabilitation.
Evaluate existing and develop new treatment approaches in (musculoskeletal) rehabilitation with the goal of consistent or improved quality of care.
Promote and disseminate evidence-based knowledge and references open to all stakeholders.
This should be done at different measurement levels using different approaches:
- D1 PPIE ask the patient
- D2 Ask the expert (qualitative/quantitative)
- D3 Retrospective & routine outcome measurements
- D4 literature review
- D5 clinical studies
- D6 Ask the machine
